The room at Rectory Cottage was absolutely charming, with a cozy and homey vibe that made me instantly feel relaxed. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the cute decor that added a touch of personality. As a light sleeper, I had the best night's sleep here!
For me personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathroom with just a shower. I prefer having the option of a bath, but I understand that others may not mind it at all.

Stylishly converted coach house in a peaceful village. Thoughtful welcome pack and well-equipped kitchen. Friendly host nearby for any assistance. Good location for exploring beautiful Welsh countryside and Chirk Castle. Excellent Sky TV and broadband.

The hosts went above and beyond with a thoughtful welcome pack including a bottle of prosecco and an Easter egg. The cottage had everything we needed, from a stocked kitchen to dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods. We enjoyed the peace and privacy, with the hosts nearby if we needed anything. The handbook provided all the information we needed. The area was beautiful, with stunning mountains and the nearby Chirk Castle and canal aqueduct. The village was quiet and perfect for a couple. The cottage itself was a tasteful conversion of an old coach house, with Sky TV and good Wi-Fi. We also appreciated the car chargers in Oswestry and Rhug estate. a mind-blowingly great stay in a clean and well-presented cottage.

Complimentary WiFi: I felt like I had my own personal internet spaceship the entire stay. It was faster than a cheetah chasing gazelles and kept me connected to the outside world, even in the depths of the beautiful garden.
Vertically-challenged stairs.

I absolutely loved the charming and tasteful decoration of Rectory Cottage. The beautiful conversion of the old coach house made me feel like I was stepping back in time. As a senior person, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with its well-maintained general areas that were easy to navigate. It was a delight to relax and explore the lovely surroundings.
I would have asked for better accessibility for senior people. The only improvement I could suggest is if the children working there could provide some assistance for those with mobility issues.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was absolutely amazing at Rectory Cottage! It was so refreshing to have the choice between a long soak or a quick shower after a tiring day of exploring. As a backpacker, having this option made my stay even more enjoyable.
Personally, I found the one bathroom with just a shower a little inconvenient. But hey, that's just me, and I'm sure others won't mind it at all.

The location of the cottage was lovely and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway with friends. The village itself was charming and had everything we needed. The hosts provided a thoughtful welcome pack, with a variety of items including bread, jam, milk, and even a bottle of prosecco. The cottage was well-presented and had all the necessary amenities, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. the hosts were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The local pub was not serving food during our stay, which was a disappointment.
